Triton Close Combat and Self Defense

I thought I'd write a little testimonial to post if you want.... I hope I can express properly what you guys have done for me....

At 49 years of age some may think, "you're too old to train in martial arts".... I say that's not the case at all, and the people at Triton have made me feel that way. I have been coming to Triton for about 4 months now and it has done wonders for me. I look better, I feel better, I have more self-confidence and I have met a great group of people that are not only training partners, but people that I consider friends as well.

I came in one evening to observe a class and was talked into participating by Piet and Summer and I have been hooked ever since. I had never trained in any form of martial arts in my life previous to that day and now, just a few months later, I am in the best shape I have ever been in and it's only getting better. I've dropped almost 20 pounds and my cardio conditioning has improved immensely. Despite all the great health benefits Triton offers me I think the thing I look forward to as much as anything else is training with the people there.

Even though there are several professional fighters that train at Triton none of them ever make you feel like you don't belong, or are intimidating in any way. They are always willing to offer advice and to take time from what they are doing to help you if they feel you need it or if you ask for it. Piet and Summer are awesome trainers and just good people (and no they have not agreed to go easy on me for saying that).

So if you want to improve your health, learn self defense skills, feel better and look better, or maybe just hang out with some really nice folks, I would definitely suggest giving Triton a try.
